Hello friend , how to do horizontal compressions on hyperbolas can be really difficult if your concepts are not clear. I know this tool , Algebrator which has helped many novice clarify their concepts. I have used this software a couple of times when I was in high school and I recommend it to every beginner.

Algebrator is rightly a good software program that helps to deal with algebra problems. I remember facing troubles with graphing lines, difference of cubes and hyperbolas. Algebrator gave step by step solution to my math homework problem on typing it and simply clicking on Solve. It has helped me through several algebra classes. I greatly recommend the program.

I remember having often faced problems with gcf, scientific notation and multiplying fractions. A truly great piece of math program is Algebrator software. By simply typing in a problem from workbook a step by step solution would appear by a click on Solve. I have used it through many math classes – Remedial Algebra, Algebra 1 and Pre Algebra. I greatly recommend the program.
