Hi math wizards! I am about one week through the semester, and getting a bit worried about my course work. I just don’t seem to understand the stuff I am learning, especially things to do with math investigatory projects in geometry. Could somebody out there please enlighten me with exponential equations, linear inequalities and y-intercept. I can’t afford to get a tutor, but if anyone knows about other ways of getting better with topics like simplifying expressions or angle-angle similarity quickly , please let me know Thank you for your time

Have you checked out Algebrator? This is a great software and I have used it several times to help me with my math investigatory projects in geometry problems. It is very straightforward -you just need to enter the problem and it will give you a complete solution that can help solve your homework. Try it out and see if it is useful .

I checked up a number of software programs before I chose Algebrator. This was the most appropriate for rational inequalities, conversion of units and slope. It was easy to key in the problem. Instead of just giving the solution, it took me through all the steps explaining all the way until it reached the answer . By the time, I arrived at the solution I learnt how to go about it by myself. I used the program for cracking my problems in Intermediate algebra, College Algebra and Basic Math in math. Do you think that you will like to try this out?

I would recommend using Algebrator. It not only helps you with your math problems, but also displays all the necessary steps in detail so that you can improve the understanding of the subject.

Thanks for the detailed information , this seems awesome. I needed something just like Algebrator, because I don't want a software which only solves the exercise and gives the final result, I want something that can really show me how the exercise has to be solved. That way I can understand it and next time solve it without any help , not just copy the results. Where can I find the software?

Yes I’m sure. This is tried and tested. Here: http://www.rational-equations.com/distancecirclesand-quadratic-equations.html. Try to make use of it. You’ll be improving your solving skills way quicker than just by reading tutorials.
