Friends , I am in need of help on unlike denominators, long division, factoring and adding numerators. Since I am a newbie to Pre Algebra, I really want to understand the fundamentals of Pre Algebra completely. Can anyone recommend the best place from where I can begin learning the fundamental principles ? I have a midterm next week. |

You are right , there are programs that can help you with homework. I think there are several ones that help you solve math problems, but I believe that Algebrator stands out amongst them. I used the program when I was a student in Algebra 1 for helping me with domain of hyperbola, and it never failed me since then. In time I understood all the topics, and after a while I was able to solve the hardest of the tests on my own . Don't worry; you won't have any problem using it. It was designed for students, so it's simple to use. Actually you just have to type in the topic nothing more .Of course you should use it to learn math , not just copy the results, because you won't improve that way. |

Algebrator truly is a must-have for us math students. As my dear friend said in the preceding post, it solves questions and it also explains all the intermediary steps involved in reaching that final solution . That way you don’t just get to know the final answer but also learn how to go about solving questions from the scratch , and it helps a lot in preparing for exams . |

I remember having problems with trigonometry, subtracting exponents and simplifying expressions. Algebrator is a truly great piece of algebra software. I have used it through several algebra classes - Remedial Algebra, Algebra 2 and Pre Algebra. I would simply type in the problem and by clicking on Solve, step by step solution would appear. The program is highly recommended. |
