elementary math trivia is my biggest problem. Can some one help me understand it? I am a beginner at it. What book or other resource do you suggest for starting this subject?

I maybe able to help you if you can be more specific and give more details about elementary math trivia. A good software would be best option rather than a costly algebra tutor. After trying a number of software I found the Algebrator to be the best I have so far come across. It solves any math problem that you may want solved. It also clarifies all the steps (of the solution). You can just copy it as your homework assignment. However, you should use it to learn math , and simply not use it to copy answers.

I myself have been using this software since a year now, and it has never let me down. It won’t just solve a question for you, but it’ll also give details of every step that was taken to arrive at a particular answer. And that’s the best feature in my opinion. I was having a lot of problems tackling questions based on elementary math trivia but ever since I bought this software, math has beenlike a piece of cake for me.

I am a regular user of Algebrator. It not only helps me finish my homework faster, the detailed explanations given makes understanding the concepts easier. I strongly recommend using it to help improve problem solving skills.
