how to solve equations with my calculator

Hi! Our class just started tackling a new topic in math about how to solve equations with my calculator and I did good for most homeworks we got but the latest one my teacher gave really confusing so I'd appreciate if somebody will assist me to understand it! It’s a problem solving assignment my algebra professor gave out this day and it’s due next week and I tried doing it but still can’t get it right. I can’t answer it with ease unlike the other assignments. I had an easy time answering my past assignments but this particular homework with specific topic of simplifying fractions gives me a hard time just knowing how to begin. I’m desperately in need of help. I’ll really appreciate if somebody help me in discussing the steps and how to solve it in a systematic and clear way.

That is true , there are programs that can assist you with lessons . I think there are a few types that help you solve algebra problems, but I believe that Algebrator is the best amongst them. I used the software when I was a student in Remedial Algebra for helping me with how to solve equations with my calculator, and it always helped me out since then. In time I understood all the topics, and soon I was able to solve the most challenging of the exercises without the program. Don't worry; you won't have any problem using it. Actually you just have to type in the keyword nothing more .Of course you should use it to learn math , not just copy the results, because you won't improve that way.

I remember having problems with trinomials, quadratic formula and adding fractions. Algebrator is a really great piece of math software. I have used it through several algebra classes - Intermediate algebra, Intermediate algebra and Pre Algebra. I would simply type in the problem from a workbook and by clicking on Solve, step by step solution would appear. The program is highly recommended.

Please do not take me negatively . I am searching for no shortcut. It’s just that I don’t seem to get enough time to try solving questions again and again. I will use the software as a guide only. Where can I get it?
